PM Narendra Modi visited Vientiane, Lao PDR on 7-8 September 2016 to attend the 14th ASEAN-India Summit and the 11th East Asia Summit. The Prime Minister had a successful visit and several ways to enhance India's physical and digital connectivity with the Southeast Asian region were discussed. PM Modi held bilateral talks with several world leaders on the sidelines of both summits.
