‘C’ in Congress stands for ‘Corruption’: PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held public meeting in Thrippunithura, Kerala. Beginning his address, the PM spoke how Government of India was concerned about the citizens residing not only in the country but abroad too. He highlighted how several steps were taken so that Indian’s stranded in Gulf could return to India safely. He also mentioned about Government’s efforts towards improving relations with the neighbouring nations.

The Prime Minister spoke at length about India’s position at the world stage today. He said, “Today entire world recognizes and accepts strength that India possess. Global rating agencies consider India as a bright spot in an otherwise gloomy economy.”

The PM remarked that the states which have reposed faith in the BJP had climbed to newer heights of progress. “States where BJP has got an opportunity to serve are progressing. Be it industries, welfare of farmers or any other sector, BJP governed states are excelling. But wherever Communists have been there, poverty and violence have ruined those states”, he added further. Shri Modi also spoke about implementation of One-Rank, One-Pension for the retired army officers that was done by the BJP-led NDA Government at Centre.

Attacking Congress party, the PM stated, ‘C’ in Congress stood for ‘Corruption’. “For Congress, everything starts with corruption. They were indulged scams. They looted wise people’s money”, he added. He alleged that Congress never ever worked for dignity of the government employees.

Shri Narendra Modi stated clearly that both Congress and Left were opportunists. “Congress party is fighting against Left in Kerala while they have joined hands with left in Bengal! Can people who speak in different voices in Kerala and West Bengal be trusted by the people? Congress and Communists do not think about welfare of people but each other” said the PM.

The Prime Minister opined that these elections were about scripting a new chapter in the history of Kerala that would take the state to newer heights of progress. He urged the people to vote for a development oriented BJP Government.

Several party karyakartas and state BJP leaders were present during the PM's rally.
